The Components of Blood

we learnt all about the different components of blood today! We found out that without red blood cells our blood would look yellow and that we have to thank our white blood cells for getting rid of that pesky cold!

We used:

red kidney beans to represent red blood cells

butter beans: to represent white blood cells

chick peas acted as our platelets a

and oil was our plasma

HOW TO ENTER: To be in with a chance of winning the above prizes, we want you to invent your own MAGICAL PROFESSOR! You must draw a picture of them and label it, making sure you let us know why your professor is so special!

Entry form will be brought to your classes. Remember to do a draft version first and make sure it’s perfect before you copy it on to the entry sheet! Please make sure you complete all of your details on the form and return it to Miss Hunter no later that Monday 6th February.
